Their lead guitarist wrote the songs for the second album and there is a difference. A man by the name of Haggis wrote the songs on the first album and on the 2nd he was no longer around. It's still southern rock like the first album but maybe not as good. It came out in 1996 on Magnetic Air Records. It's called 'Gettin' Pretty Good.At Barely Gettin' By.'. I just got the 2nd album from these guys. Anyway there is something about it that just clicks with me. I'm just going to say that this is ONE HELL OF A CD!! It may not have the best singer or songs or guitars and it sure as hell don't have the best producer (Fuck You! Rick Rubin!). No smart ass remarks from me on this one. In 2002 I still play this cd and how many albums from the early 90's can you say that about? The best endorsement I can say for these guys is just that. One of the best albums I have ever heard in my life!!! I am still trying to find another to replace my old one. Its been awfully quiet after their second album 'pretty good.'.
